PracticeVendors Awards

Last updated PracticeVendors

The PracticeVendors Awards recognize billing, credentialing and coding companies that US medical practices rate highly. Every award is earned from real client reviews and checked facts. No company can pay for an award, enter for a fee or get one by placing our badge on its website.

The first awards will be announced in March 2027. Reviews collected from now until February 28, 2027 count toward them.

Sample PracticeVendors Award seal: Top Rated, Medical Billing, 2027
Sample seal. Winners receive a seal like this, with their award, specialty and year, from March 2027.

The Awards

Award Who it recognizes
Top Rated Companies with the strongest client ratings across all services.
Top Rated by Specialty Companies rated highly by practices in one specialty, for example dental, behavioral health or cardiology billing.
Best for Small Practices Companies rated highly by practices with one to five providers.
Credentialing Excellence Credentialing and payer enrollment companies rated highly for speed and communication.

Who Can Win

To be considered for any award, a company must meet all of these on the award date:

  • Its listing has been claimed for at least 60 days.
  • Its profile is Verified by PracticeVendors.
  • It has at least 5 published reviews from client practices in the 12 months before the award date.
  • Its average rating is 4.5 or higher.
  • Its profile is complete and accurate: services, specialties, states served and pricing information.
  • No reviews have been removed from its profile for breaking our review rules.

Specialty awards also need at least 3 of those reviews from practices in that specialty. Best for Small Practices needs at least 3 from practices with one to five providers.

What Never Counts

  • Payment of any kind. There is no entry fee, and Sponsored listings get no advantage.
  • Whether a company shows our badge on its website.
  • Reviews from staff, friends, or anyone paid or rewarded to write them. We remove these, and federal rules ban them (16 CFR Part 465).

How the Award Seal Works

  • Winners receive an award seal for their website that shows the award and the year, and links to their profile so practices can read the reviews behind it.
  • Each award lasts 12 months and is reviewed again the next year.
  • If a company stops meeting the standards, for example if its profile is no longer Verified, the seal is withdrawn.

How to Get Ready

  1. Claim your listing, free, and complete your profile.
  2. Ask your current client practices for honest reviews. Use the review invitation links in your dashboard.
  3. Request verification once your listing has been claimed for 30 days.

For Practices

An award tells you that practices like yours rated a company highly and that we checked its profile. It is a good place to start, not a final answer. Read the reviews, ask for references and compare terms. Our guide to what PracticeVendors labels mean explains every label you will see.
