About PracticeVendors
Choosing a billing, credentialing or coding company is one of the biggest decisions a private practice makes. Get it right and claims go out clean, denials get worked and cash arrives on time. Get it wrong and you find out months later, when the A/R report finally shows what was left behind.
Yet most practices still pick a partner from a Google search, a sales call and a referral from a colleague. The company websites all say the same things. Reviews are scattered or missing. Nobody tells you which companies actually work in your EHR, in your specialty, in your state.
PracticeVendors exists to fix that. We put the companies side by side, show what each one really offers, and let practices that have worked with them say how it went.
What we do
- List the companies that serve US medical practices: billing, credentialing, coding, prior authorization, eligibility, A/R recovery and billing audits.
- Organize them the way practices search: by service, specialty, state and the EHR or PM system you already use.
- Collect real reviews from practices. Every review is email-confirmed and read by a person before it is published.
- Check the companies that want a Verified badge, and renew that check every year.
- Introduce practices to companies when they ask for quotes, without sharing patient information.
What we will not do
- Sell a badge, a review or a better rating. Paid placements exist, and they are always labeled.
- Show a certification as a badge without proof.
- Guess numbers we do not have. Empty is better than invented.
- Ask you for patient information. None of our forms need it.
The details are in our methodology, editorial policy and advertising disclosure.
For companies
If your company is listed, you can claim the listing for free and keep it accurate. If it is not, you can add it. A basic listing is free and always will be.
